Your Next Stamp Happy Easter (Hey Chickie)

Happy Easter everyone!

My family got together on Saturday to celebrate Easter.  As a little gift for everyone, I made these treat bags.

I used the Hey Chickie stamp and die set along with the Cool Tags One die to decorate the bags. The paper is Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid.

The bag is approximately 5 inches high by 3 inches wide. You can create the bag from 1 sheet of 8.5 x 11 sheet of cardstock. You will find a tutorial on how to make these bags here.

There is also a die to create a smaller version of this bag called the Scallop Topped Treat Bag from Your Next Stamp. The YNS die creates a darling treat bag that is 3x2 inches.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Hey Chickie, Sprinkles Happy Easter (sentiment)
Dies: Hey Chickie, Cool Tags One

Your Next Stamp Sketch/Colour Challenge # 34 (Sprinkles Knit Happens)

Hello and welcome to another week of sketch/colour challenge # 35 at Your Next Stamp.

Every two weeks there is a new challenge that features a sketch and colour inspiration. Pick the one that inspires you most, or try to use both on your creation for an added challenge. The best part of these challenges, is that you might WIN a gift certificate to the YNS store!

If you choose to use the colour inspiration, be sure to use at least 3 colours, along with any additional neutrals.

This week I inked up Sprinkles - Knit Happens and played around with the sketch. With only a few simple changes you can add your own flare to most sketches.

Inside of the care I used a sentiment from the Whatnot Sentiment Two set.

One random participant will WIN at $15 gift card to the YNS store. If you feature a YNS stamp or die (it must be the main focus), you will receive an additional $5. Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps March Previews Day Four: You Are My Sunshine!

Welcome back for another fun day of previews. We are now on our forth day of previews for the March release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

Today's preview by artist and Krafty girl Becky Pearce is called YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE! This stamps set was recently previewed as part of the latest spring card kit that are still available in the shop (here).

This set is a lot of fun to mix and match the different images and it works well with the bright colours in the Echo Park Spring collection.

I used masking paper, to create my little duck and boots scene. I first stamped the image of the duck that sits in front. I stamped it again on masking paper (you can also use a post it note). Cut out the image from the masking paper and place on top of the stamped duck image. Ink up the image going into the background (the boots) and stamp. Once you remove your masking paper the boots will only stamp on the paper in thearea that was not covered with masking paper. It's a lot of fun.

Inside the card I kept everything clean and simple.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: You Are My Sunshine (Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps)
Dies: Stitching Marks Circles, Circle dies (YNS)
Paper: Echo Park Spring
Other: American Crafts Hemp Twine (Straw)
